• Contact and reservation details — such as your first and last name, email address, and mobile phone number when you join the waitlist or reserve a device, along with your email and SMS opt-in choices, any relationship or persona you tell us the device is for, and your interest in a reservation or deposit.
• Account information — such as the email address you use to create or sign in to your account.
• Device information — such as a device identifier used to link a Hey Jesus device or app installation to your account.
• Profile and preferences — such as a display name and the settings you choose for how the companion responds to you.
• Usage and support data — such as basic activity and site/device usage needed to operate the service, and any messages you send us when you contact support.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Process and manage reservations, deposits, and early-access spots.
• Send you launch news and updates, if you have opted in.
• Send you email and/or text messages about Hey Jesus, according to the opt-in choices you made.
• Provide, maintain, and improve the Hey Jesus experience.
• Link your device or app installation to your account.
• Remember your preferences and provide continuity across sessions.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Keep the service secure and prevent misuse.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the service — for example, hosting and authentication, analytics, email and text-message delivery, and payment or checkout processing — and only as needed for them to perform those services on our behalf. Text Messaging Privacy

If you opt in to text messages, we collect and store your mobile number and a record of your consent so we can send the messages you asked for and honor your choices.

• Your mobile opt-in information and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own or unrelated third-party marketing. We share your number only with the providers that help us deliver our own messages, and only for that purpose.
• You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can unsubscribe from email at any time using the link in our emails. Opting out of one does not opt you out of the other.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, as long as your reservation or waitlist entry is active, or as otherwise needed to provide the service and meet our legal obligations. • You can update your profile and preferences in the app.

Children's Privacy

Hey Jesus is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law in your region, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.

Not an Emergency Service

Hey Jesus is a spiritual companion and is not a medical, mental-health, crisis, or emergency service. If you are in danger or experiencing a crisis, please contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Hey Jesus after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
